WHAT ARE COOKIES
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your web browser when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, improve user experience, and provide information to site operators. The use of cookies is regulated by EU Directive 2002/58/EC (ePrivacy Directive) and its Italian implementation under D.Lgs. 196/2003, Art. 122, as well as the Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali guidelines on cookies (Provvedimento n. 231 del 10 giugno 2021).
In addition to traditional cookies, the VTT platform uses localStorage, a browser storage mechanism that persists data locally on your device. Unlike cookies, localStorage data is not sent to the server with each request. localStorage is covered by the same ePrivacy rules as cookies when used for storing information on user devices.
COOKIES WE USE
The VTT platform uses only essential cookies and storage required for the Platform to function. We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies.

HOW TO MANAGE COOKIES
Essential cookies are placed under the Art. 122(1) exemption of Italian D.Lgs. 196/2003 (implementing ePrivacy Directive Art. 5(3)) and do not require prior consent. They are strictly necessary for the provision of the service explicitly requested by the user. Since the VTT platform only uses essential cookies, there is no granular opt-in mechanism. This policy and our cookie banner provide the required notification.
You can manage cookies through your browser settings:

Please note that disabling essential cookies or clearing localStorage may affect the functionality of the Platform. Specifically:
- //Clearing the authentication cookie will log you out of the platform.
- //Clearing the vtt-wallet localStorage entry will disconnect your wallet and require you to reconnect.
- //Blocking Stripe cookies will prevent you from completing fiat payments on the launchpad.
- //Blocking Cloudflare Turnstile cookies may prevent you from submitting the purchase form.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
If we introduce non-essential cookies (such as analytics) in the future, we will update this policy and implement a granular consent mechanism as required by GDPR and the Garante guidelines (Provvedimento n. 231 del 10 giugno 2021), including a compliant cookie banner with opt-in controls for each category of non-essential cookies.
